Ellen's Book Review

Fascinating new series launch:

A Georgia O'Keeffe Mystery

Kathryn Lasky has written a suspenseful new mystery, Light on Bone, set in New Mexico in the 1930s It features artist Georgia O’Keeffe, who has left NYC and her husband, photographer Stieglitz, to travel to New Mexico to paint. The intricately plotted story begins when O’Keefe discovers the body of a priest in the desert near Ghost Ranch. Lasky’s elegant writing captures O'Keeffe's emotional turmoil and reveals her perception of the landscape that moves her to paint. This historical fiction is so much more than a stunning, intricately plotted who-dunnit mystery! Impossible to put down!
