Guild Meeting 6:30 pm

Guild Meeting 6:30 pm

Can you believe it’s already March? The March HQH Fanfare Quilt Show is right around the corner on March 15-16 and I hope to see everyone there! Our local quilt shops are exhibiting and will be busy this month preparing their booths for the show, so be sure to visit each and every one of them at the show and show your support!

Don’t forget that our meeting is being replaced by a special presentation that you don’t want to miss March 14 at 7pm in South Hall 2. The special guest, Brandy Maslowski, known as the Quilter on Fire is internationally known and will be speaking that evening. In her presentation, entitled “Your Mind Matters,” Brandy will share her quilting journey through a career as a firefighter to following her passion as an art quilter. Brandy is the certified quilt judge for this show.

The entry fee for the presentation is $10 and includes entrance to the quilt show on Friday and SaturdayBUT if you already bought your $5 ticket that is what you will use to get into the meeting/presentation and also the show for both days! DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 so come early!  Presentation and a very quick MSQ business meeting starts at 7pm.

I am looking forward to seeing all of our talented quilters in the show this year!
