For this month, we have prepared tips on how to manage the flu in your workplace, details on an employee's day of rest, and information on the California New Parent Leave Act.

2018 W-4 Released
The W-4 for 2018 has released. Employers may continue to use the 2017 Form W-4 for 30 days. Tax changes in December have delayed the release for the W-4 until later than usual this year.

Post Form 300A for Job-Related Injuries/Illnesses
Don’t forget that you need to post the Form 300A summary of job-related injuries and illnesses from 2017 at your place of business from February 1 through April 30. Please let us know if you need assistance.

The Flu in the Workplace
This year the flu is widespread and is taking a toll on your employees. What steps should you take to fight this flu season?

California Parent Leave Act
Employers with 20 or more employees must provide eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of time off for parental leave under the California New Parent Leave Act.
