March is National Craft Month! Here at River City we love to use crafting as a coping skill. There are so many types of crafts including sewing, painting, quilting, crocheting, scrapbooking, etc. Research has shown that crafting is beneficial for your brain and is a powerful coping skill. We had a wonderful turn out for our 2022 Heart to Heart Dancing with the Stars virtual event! We want to thank all of the participants and everyone who graciously donated to support the event. Teen Dating Violence Awareness month is over, but awareness is important year round. During the month of February we worked hard to spread awareness and information about teen dating violence and its impact. We were able to distribute resources to local schools and community organizations that discussed signs of healthy relationships and unhealthy relationships.
