Reaching Our World For Christ
From Your Associational Mission Strategist
We are in the planning stages for our Summer Camps and I am looking forward to how God is going to move in the hearts and lives of the children and youth who will be attending our camps. This is a great ministry that our churches can support in many ways. I would like for you to begin praying for our camps and for those who will be leading. In the near future we will be asking churches to help with supplies as well as preparing meals. We really appreciate the churches who commit to helping us. We could not do these camps without our churches! I am also asking every church to designate a Sunday between now and June to receive a love offering for our camps. We are always in need of scholarships to help those who don’t have the financial resources to send their children to camp. We are also in needs of funds to replace and update things in our buildings. There is a need to replace all of our windows in the chapel and that could cost as much as 7,000.00. Any extra financial assistance is greatly appreciated as we desire to have a great camp where people can grow closer to the Lord!

In April we will be having an informational meeting for Pastors and Sunday School leaders to share how our churches can participate in Sunday School mentoring. This will greatly benefit any church who would like to improve their Sunday School. I believe that Sunday School or small group Bible Studies are important in the life of a church and especially in spiritual and numerical growth. I would like to encourage every Pastor and their S.S. Leaders to attend this meeting on April 11th at Ebenezer Baptist Church. We will begin with a meal at 6:30 and the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. I hope we have many churches who will want to be a part of this Mentoring process.

I am thankful for our churches in our Association and I continue to pray that God will guide us to be Healthy Kingdom Churches that faithfully fulfill the Great Commission!
