March 2020
Note from Principal Daws

Dear Marina Families:
Quite a week…we are thankfully all fine at Marina.  We have a balanced budget for next year and feel very good about it.  All programs will continue.
Our students are all healthy and we are thankful.  We receive ongoing updates from the district (working with the San Francisco health department) concerning the virus.  I am including a powerpoint presentation about the virus for everyone.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Ginny Daws

Construction Update
We will soon be moving half the first floor classes (north half) and lockers to the art wing and construction will begin before spring break in that area.
Family School Climate Survey!

SFUSD created a survey to help us understand how families feel about their schools, their child’s learning, and how we can improve. It is very important that we get as many of our families to respond as possible so that we have data that truly represents the whole school and not just a few people. Everyone’s voice is important! This survey will be anonymous. Parents with multiple children in this school should fill out one survey for each child. The survey is available online and is translated into Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Arabic.

Please take a moment to take our survey .
