Registration is open for the 43rd Annual Seaport River Run!

Join thousands of runners and walkers for a traditional valley fun run on Saturday, April 25th. This event is one of the many great activities associated with the Dogwood Festival, which is held annually to celebrate arts, culture and community in the Lewis-Clark Valley.

NEW FIRE ENGINE IN SERVICE
"The Lewiston Fire Department would like to thank the community and City Council for providing the funds to purchase this new engine, which will be protecting the west portion of the Orchards and Country Club area."

Starting March 12th, everyone will begin receiving official Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 Census online, by phone, or by mail. YOUR RESPONSE MATTERS!
SERVICE SPOTLIGHT
TRANSIT STAFF ARE GOING THE EXTRA MILE FOR YOU

Staff submitted a grant application for resources to help with the construction of a bus pullout, shelters and bathrooms at the Lewiston Community Center, which is one of the busiest stops.

The application has been reviewed by the Idaho Department of Transportation and staff should receive a response anytime.

The Parks and Recreation Commission is hosting several special events where they are asking you to provide feedback about the parks in your neighborhood.

The next event will be focused around Airport Park and future development in that area. It will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at Centennial Elementary School.


March 30, 2020 - 6:00PM
The Lewiston City Council and staff would like you to share your thoughts at this open house about topics including the Columbia River Systems Operations Draft Environmental Impact Statement, new and upgraded transit bus stops, future projects like new or upgraded event centers and recreational needs, and much more.

This open house will be held in the Williams Conference Center at Lewis-Clark State College.

UPCOMING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
The Lewiston City Council met for a work session on Monday, March 2nd and will hold regular meetings on Monday, March 9th and Monday, March 23rd. The Council will also come together for a meeting with the Nez Perce County Commissioners to discuss joint projects on March 23rd.
