Twentynine Palms Rotary Carnival Returns to Luckie Park
The lights, rides, and classic carnival excitement are returning to
town as the Twentynine Palms Rotary Carnival comes back to Luckie Park for four days of family-friendly fun, March 19-22, 2026.
Presented in partnership with the Twentynine Palms Rotary Club, this annual community favorite will feature a full midway of carnival rides, interactive games, prize booths, and a variety of food vendors offering sweet and savory treats. The Rotary Carnival has become a beloved local tradition, bringing together residents and visitors for a weekend of entertainment while supporting. Rotary’s ongoing service projects in the community.
“The Rotary Carnival is one of those events that truly feels like home,” said Community Events Coordinator Scott Clinkscales. “It’s a chance for families, friends, and neighbors to gather, enjoy classic carnival fun and support the important work Rotary does throughout Twentynine Palms.”
Pre-sale wristband coupons can be purchased for $35 each beginning Monday, February 2, 2026, from the Parks & Recreation office, Bowladium Family Fun Center, and Twentynine Palms Visitor Center. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars now and plan to attend this four-day celebration filled with laughter, lights, and hometown spirit.

Wanting to Adopt a from our Local Shelter
Palms-N-Paws handle all kinds of animals, from house pets and livestock to birds of prey. Whether you’re looking to adopt, volunteer, or just have fun, there’s something for everyone!
If you would like to adopt an animal, please visit their facility. Adoption fees include spay/neuter vouchers, health check-ups, City licenses, and microchipping. All adopted animals must be taken from the shelter at the time of adoption.
Palms-N-Paws would like to remind our residents that it is crucial to spay and neuter your pets. Here are a few reasons as to why spaying and neutering is important:
- Overcrowding in shelters
- Avoid unwanted litters
- Reduce your pet’s risk for reproductive cancers and infections
- Reduce spraying in male cats
- Reduce inappropriate aggression
- Increase gentleness and affection

Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is a girl-empowerment organization that inspires participants to be joyful, healthy, and confident. Through evidence-based lessons combining relationship building, community strengthening, and goal setting with physical movement, girls in grades 3-8 will gain skills that last a lifetime!

- Girls on the Run (3rd-5th grade) Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00-5:30 PM
- Heart & Sole (6th-8th grade) - Wednesdays, 4:00-6:00 PM

Yoga for All
The City of Twentynine Palms is about to get a little more flexible, as new yoga classes, led by Doula Supinda Siri. These classes, designed for all ages and skill levels, aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment to promote physical and mental well-being.
The yoga classes will be held four times a month on Wednesdays at the Luckie Park Activity Center, located at 74325 Joe Davis Drive. Whether you're a senior, a parent, a teen, or simply someone looking for a midweek reset, there’s a class tailored just for you.

- 9AM - Chair Yoga (Free for Seniors @ Twentynine Palms Senior Center)
- 3:30 PM - Parents & Babies Yoga Play Time (Drop-in $15 / $55 Monthly)
- 5PM - Prenatal Yoga (Drop-in $15 / $55 Monthly)
- 6PM - Yoga for All (Drop-in $15 / $55 Monthly)

Legomation Science!
Back with a New Mechanical Engineering
The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the return of Legomation Science! With a new mechanical engineering class designed for children ages 5–10.
In this four-week program, children will become mechanical engineers and learn all about the engineering design process. Working with a partner, they will build movable gadgets they can move with their hands each class. They will make and take home their very own gadget creation from various LEGO pieces in the last class.
Program Details:
· Dates: Saturdays, March 7, 14, 21
· Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
· Location: Patriotic Hall, 5882 Luckie Ave
· Cost: $20 per class / $80 for the full program (materials included)
· Ages: 5–10 years old

Parents and guardians are welcome to stay on-site during the class sessions. Families may choose to register for one, two, three, or all four sessions - participation is flexible to fit your schedule.

It's time for some self-care. Using tenants of meditation, breathwork, yoga, and dance, participants will enjoy meaningful movement, stretching, and stillness that will have them leaving feeling rejuvenated and revitalized.

Build confidence and coordination with an introduction to gymnastics for kids age 2-6. Through rolling, jumping, stretching, and creative movement with props, kids will begin to understand the fundamentals of body awareness, balance, and the joy of movement

Ages: 6-16
This high energy dance program is designed to introduce children and teens to rhythm and creative movement. They'll build confidence and coordination, while learning the fundamentals of dance genres spanning ballet, jazz, Irish step dancing, line dancing, polka, waltz, and more. Learning becomes fun when games and active participation meet technique.
