Meet Ashlee, our new

Communications Coordinator

The EIPLP is so excited to welcome our new Communications Coordinator, Ashlee Fields. Ashlee is a mother to three beautiful children-Boy (11), Boy (3), and Girl (2). In her spare time she loves to read, organize a cluttered space, and take long drives. She is an entrepreneur and also in school working towards a degree in healthcare administration.

After the birth of her daughter and receiving two rare diagnosis which drastically impacts her quality of life, Ashlee found a passion advocating for families in her community who either don’t have access to or unaware of the resources available to help medically complex children. She loves to meet new people and share her story hoping it can help one family at a time!

Visions of Community Conference

The Federation for Children with Special Needs annual Visions of Community Conference is happening on Saturday, March 19^th. The conference is being held virtually again this year, and there are networking session and short evening workshops being held 3/14-3/18. The EIPLP believes that you, as family leaders in the MA EI System, should have opportunities to learn about programs, resources, and supports for children and families who may be involved in/have been served by the early intervention system. The EIPLP is able to provide scholarships to a limited number of Parent Contacts to attend this event.

Our Families Have Been Busy

EIPLP Families have been up to great things in 2022! Already this year, we have supported

14 families in Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC) events
4 families as RFR reviewers,
11 families as part of our Finding Your Footing introductory leadership series,
over 75 families in attending Turning Three Essentials

We could not be more excited to start the year off on such a great start! Please keep an eye out for more opportunities to learn, grow, and share your experience.
