National Reading Month
In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, March is designated as National Reading Month - a month to motivate Americans of all ages to read every day.

Come and visit the Flint to see what you could be reading next!
Celebrating Read Across America
The National Education Association is excited to bring you Read Across America year-round helping motivate kids to read, bringing the joys of reading to students of all ages, and making all children feel valued and welcome.

While RAA offers limitless opportunities throughout the year, many organizations celebrate on March 2 during National Reading Month.

The Flint Public Library will be hosting a Nature Photography Exhibit throughout the month of May, and we are seeking submissions.

Tween Time is a space for tweens ages 8-14 to hangout after school and socialize, play with games and puzzles, or work on homework. Special events like craft projects, group activities, and book talks will be held by Felicia, our Assistant Children's Librarian. Museum & Attraction Passes
Please review our museum/attraction pass
rules and regulations before reserving a pass.

We suggest visiting the websites of the museum or attraction you are interested in visiting before reserving a pass for the most recent updates of the museum or attraction's hours, holidays, and closings.
General Rules and Regulations:
  • You must be a Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) card holder to reserve a pass at the Flint. If your library card is not from a member library of the MVLC system, you must register your library card from another system at our library before you can reserve a pass.

  • MVLC card holders may reserve museum passes in advance...

  • by calling the library at (978) 774-8132 and speaking with a librarian at the Circulation Desk
  • by speaking with a librarian in-person at the Circulation Desk

  • Passes may be picked up the day of or the day before use. Be sure to bring your library card or photo ID when picking up passes.

  • Some passes must be returned to the Main Desk the day following use. Patrons will be notified which passes must be returned upon pickup. The borrower assumes complete responsibility for the return of the museum passes. There is a $5.00 fine if the pass is not returned within 24 hours of the due date, and a replacement fee will be levied if the pass is lost.

If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please call the library at your earliest convenience to let a member of the staff know.
