Community Enhancement & Investment Fund

Application Period Now Open!


The city is now accepting Community Enhancement & Investment Fund grant applications! The city offers this grant opportunity to individuals, organizations and community partners who are interested in enhancing the #RanchoCordova community through arts, culture, history, entertainment, youth services, and other community-oriented programs and projects.


Applications are available to submit now through Friday, March 14, 2025, at 12 PM PST. If your project or program will take place at a school or park, your application is due by Monday, March 3, 2025, at 12 PM PST.

3rd Annual California Capital International Documentary Film Festival Returns on March 7 - 9


The California Capital International Documentary Film Festival will take place in Rancho Cordova from March 7 - 9. New this year, the festival will also offer a virtual component to give film lovers access to watch as many films as they'd like from the comfort of their own homes. The festival will present a diverse lineup of 44 outstanding films from 12 countries.

Spring is around the corner! Did you know that the city, in partnership with the Sacramento Tree Foundation, provides all Rancho Cordova residents with up to 10 free shade trees.

Animal Services Welcomes Donations


Help lost, stray and wild animals stay safe and comfortable while in care by donating clean towels or blankets and new pet items to the city's Animal Services Division. Drop off donations during business hours at 2880 Gold Tailings Court, or purchase supplies to donate online.

Cordova Parks and Recreation District's Teen Adventure Group Making Waves


In January, teens of the Cordova Recreation & Park District’s (CRPD) Teen Adventure Group (TAG), January 11 spent the day surfing in Santa Cruz.


CRPD's TAG program offers much more than just outdoor fun. Through monthly meetings and events, members learn valuable life skills, including event planning, leadership development and community engagement. The program is open to middle and high school students aged 11 - 17 within CRPD boundaries.
