Will take place in any weather - rain, shine, snow, sleet, or MUD (Shrek's favorite)
The Waterville Opera House invites children 10 and under to a Dragon Egg Hunt at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 30, in Castonguay Square in downtown Waterville to meet the characters from Shrek the Musical (coming to the Waterville Opera House April 4-11).
Families will assemble at the steps of City Hall. Children will collect a dragon egg from Castonguay Square and take it to the Opera House ticket lobby on the first floor of City Hall to claim a prize. Activities and snacks will be offered until 3:30 pm at downtown businesses:
- Common Street Arts (Slime-making)
- Children's Bookcellar (Stories with Princess Fiona)
- Day's Jewelers (Face Painting)
- Downtown Smoothies (Swamp Smoothie)
- Holy Cannoli (Decorate a dragon egg cookie)
- Jorgensen's Caf� (Ogre juice).
Come to the Dragon Egg Hunt and enjoy a family afternoon in downtown Waterville. All activities free to children 10 and under.
