As I write this article we’re approaching the midway point of the Lenten season. Wow! Time is marching on! (pardon the pun).
I hope you’ve enjoyed placing flowers on the Lenten Cross for the past two Sundays. Now that one side of the cross is filled, we’ll continue filling the other side for the remaining Lenten Sundays.
On Sunday, March 3, we’ll begin the month with a Communion service, followed by an insightful skit from the Worship Team at worship on March 10, and a sermon and song about mountains on March 17.
On March 24, we’ll have a festive Palm Sunday worship service with palms, followed by a dinner of soup and salad and Communion service on Maundy Thursday evening, March 28.
And we’ll end the month on Sunday, March 31 with a joyful Easter sunrise service at 7 am at Tougas Farm, with a breakfast potluck at church afterward and then our 10 o’clock morning service as I talk about the Mystery that is the Resurrection.
Join us as we move from a reflective Lent to a wondrous Easter as we walk with Jesus and with one another as Trinity Church.
Blessings,
Will

Order Easter Flowers
Help us beautify the sanctuary on Easter Sunday with flowers. Since many people have allergies to Easter Lilies, we will be ordering spring flowers instead. Order your flowers through the church office. You may take your flowers home with you after the service on Easter.
Order forms are available at the church office, or call Rita for more info. All orders must be received by noontime on Tuesday March 12, 2024.

Hello Trinity Church Community!
We are off to a wonderful start into the Lenten Season. The music ensembles have represented our ministry extremely well! I hope everyone has been enjoying the music presentations so far this season. There is more to come as we continue our faith journey to Easter.
Here is a quick look at what special music March will bring us:
- March 3rd - Exciting Postlude provided by Hand Bell Choir & a hymn-packed communion service.
- March 10th - All music will be provided by myself, so no one has to commit to extra time on Daylight Savings.
- March 17th - The service music will be provided by the Worship Band, in addition to a beautiful special called "Move My Mountain".
- March 24th - Both the Hand Bell Choir and the Adult Voice Choir will bring us special music for the Palm Celebration Service to start Holy Week on the right foot!
- March 31st at 7am - Sunrise Service at Tougas Farms filled with familiar tunes accompanied by guitar, a quick devotional, and fellowship with friends and nature.
- March 31st at 10am - Easter Worship featuring specials from the Adult Voice Choir along with some traditional Easter standards.
Holy Week will bring several opportunities for us to gather and share the love of God and Music. From a “Palm Celebration” with lively music and interactive moments, to a “Sunrise Service” at Tougas Farm with Nature and Fellowship, you will not want to miss out.
Our Song of the Month for March is a great praise standard many will recognize called “Sanctuary”. Though it may be familiar, I feel it will truly help us prepare our minds and hearts for thoughtful worship. You can listen to it HERE and read the lyrics below.
Lord, prepare me to be a Sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true.
With thanksgiving, I’ll be a living Sanctuary for you.
And for a Sung Benediction, we will sing a verse and chorus of “Lamb of God” by Twila Paris. HERE is a full video of her original version.
The few months after Easter is a great time to “test the waters” with any of our music ensembles. Each of the groups will be learning 1-2 more songs for the months of April & May and then take off for the Summer months. If you’d like more information on rehearsal times, what would be expected, just reach out.
Until We Meet Again,
Scott Arnold (he/him)

PASTOR PARISH RELATIONS TEAM | |
The Pastor Parish Relations Committee, or PPRC, supports and sustains an open and healthy relationship between the pastor and the members of the congregation, and ensures open and honest communication amongst all parties.
Our quarterly meetings include a time of sharing within the group and a discussion of timely matters (mainly concerns expressed by members of the congregation). We currently have only one Committee member and Barbara's contact information is listed below:
PPRC Member:
Barbara Sutherland - (508) 460-0233 or
barbarasutherland123@comcast.net
We urgently need two more committee members to be part of PPRC in order for this group to function. This is a great committee to join if you're not part of another one. If you're interested in joining, please contact Lorna Van Horn at lornahelms1@gmail.com. Thank you.
