Happy March Trinity Church!
Our Deacons had our first meeting in February. We are so excited to see the energy and enthusiasm in our congregation! The recommitment to our mission and the focus on growing our church and sharing God's love was forefront in our discussions, and as you can see from our upcoming events, being implemented.
We are honored to be able to work together with everyone at Trinity to continue to grow and thrive!
Curious about how you can share your time or talents? Curious about what our committees do and how you can get involved? Please reach out at lornahelms1@gmail.com or call me at 508-596-1776. I would love to have a cup of coffee or a phone call with you!
All the best,

"God, Whose Giving Knows No Ending" - Hymn #606 from the Chalice Hymnal
God, whose giving knows no ending,
from your rich and endless store,
nature's wonder, Jesus' wisdom,
costly cross, grave's shattered door:
gifted by you, we turn to you,
offering up ourselves in praise;
thankful song shall rise forever,
gracious donor of our days.
Skills and time are ours for pressing
toward the goals of Christ, your Son:
all at peace in health and freedom,
races joined, the church made one.
Now direct our daily labor,
lest we strive for self alone;
born with talents, make us servants
fit to answer at Your throne.
Treasure too you have entrusted,
gain through powers your grace conferred;
ours to use for home and kindred,
and to spread the gospel Word.
Open wide our hands, in sharing,
as we heed Christ's ageless call,
healing, teaching, and reclaiming,
serving you by loving all.
This will be sung to the traditional tune of "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing".

FROM OUR FAITH FORMATION DIRECTOR
It has been wonderful to see kids signing up for our programs! We will continue next month by sharing a children's time during our church service. It was an exciting month with and for our youth!
Our Community A.C.T.S group is hard at work! They are working on a middle school age dance with the proceeds being split between the Community ACTS group for operating funds and Safe Homes in Worcester.
Trinity Tots is off and running again for the Spring and it has been wonderful to see our littlest members in church.
| |
We need your help! In order to run a variety of programming for our youth we need volunteers. Do you enjoy being around our littlest members, love to dig in and make a difference in the community or Is it more your speed to help decorate the trinity altar as part of our new altar-scaping or telling a story during our children's moment? Please reach out to Sherry at trinitycenorthboro@gmail.com or 508-254-2217

FROM THE BUILDING STUDY COMMITTEE
Building Study Committee – March 2023 Update
The Building Study Committee has been working this winter to evaluate the options for Trinity’s building. Our original plan was to present our final report to the Deacons this spring.
In February, we met with the town’s consultants on the downtown revitalization effort and talked with them about Trinity’s space and how it might be used. The consultants were very interested in Trinity and said they would probably have some suggestions for how Trinity can fit into the downtown revitalization. They are expecting to release their final report in May. As a result, we will be delaying our final report until after their report is released so we can incorporate their suggestions for Trinity.
Even though our report may be delayed, we have already passed a couple of suggestions on to the Deacons. One of the biggest priorities is marketing Trinity’s space for rentals. This effort has started and will continue into the foreseeable future. Another recommendation will be to look at the feasibility of hosting after school recreational activities for local teens.
We look forward to being able to complete this process and submit our final report later in the year.
As usual, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact any member of the committee.

Dear Trinity family,
As many of you know, we are in the process of moving to our new home. We will be closing this week, so Sunday February 26 was our last regular service being here. It was a lovely send off and so unexpected - cake and everything! And we will be back to visit from time to time for sure! We are so grateful for this church and our Trinity family for all the love and support we have received here over the years. Our cell phones and email contact info will not change, so we are reachable!
Love to all!
Fran and Larry Hemstreet

Dear Trinity Church
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to you for your support and kindness in the collection of donations for the Turkiye and Syria earthquakes that took place on February 6, 2023.
Many of you warned me that I would need a much larger van and you were correct. Your support allowed us to collect and distribute in kind donations such as baby formula, diapers, hygiene products, flashlights, hats, boots, coats, sleeping bags, tents and blankets and more. Your generous donations were loaded up to four vans and a U-Haul truck and delivered to the Turkish Consulate and Syria’s collection centers by NuDay.
We feel deeply humbled and grateful to be part of this amazingly caring and generous community. Without your care, we would not have been able to make such a big impact on the millions of people who are impacted by this natural disaster and are in an uncertain and compromised living situation for the foreseeable near future. Click Here for a video we made to highlight the community's generosity.
With grateful hearts,
Selvi & Ceylan
