Memorial Hospital Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with its own Board of Directors, by-laws and Articles of Incorporation. We raise support for and manage 26 funds that provide financial assistance to Memorial Health System's patients and employees.
In February, we had the following impact because of our supporters:
308 medications for cancer patients
72 medications for cardiac patients
47 medications for endocrinology patients
9 breast imaging services for women
7 orders of medical supplies for ostomy patients
5 medications for pediatric patients through Randall Speck Fund
We've also secured $2,350,478 in grant funding so far this year.
The Wiggin’ Out For Cancer Ribbon Walk is a joint fundraiser with Memorial oncology staff members and Pink Heart Funds to help cancer patients in our community. Half of the proceeds will benefit our Oncology Patient Fund which provides medication, transportation and nutritional assistance to Memorial Health System‘s cancer patients. Join us Saturday, April 29th to support those battling cancer in our community!

Burdonne Young Scholarship applications will open on Monday, April 3rd and close Friday, April 28th at noon. The application will only be available online through the Foundation’s website. Once the application opens, a link to the application will be emailed to all employees. Only dependents of Memorial employees who will be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university in the fall of 2023 are eligible to apply.

We manage 26 funds that provide financial support to Memorial Health System's patients and employees. What makes us unique is that 100% of donations to the Foundation directly benefit the fund of your choosing and stay in our community. We have several donor programs for our supporters to choose from and you get to pick the fund you would like your donation to benefit.
