March Update - another action-packed week! | |

Reading about the cabinet that wouldn't fit into the lift, prompted one friend to suggest I should write "A Day in the Life of.. " about some of the crazy things we've done. She had a different sort of problem when her husband got stuck in Penang General Hospital and they wouldn't accept payment by an international credit card.. suffice it to say, we got him out!
I thought back to my childhood and the stories my dad used to tell about his fictional character Skimpy who was always in the right place at the right time.. seeng an accident, smoke billowing from a building, or whatever, Skimpy would dash to the nearest phone box and dial 999..

Whereupon the operator would reply "Which service do you require?"
It's a bit like that at Spiral Synergy! But instead of Police, Fire or Ambulance it's empty our apartment, entertain our guests, can you find me a Christmas tree.. or sometimes, I just need some advice! You never know what request the phone call will bring!

We start off with a brief introduction to the history of Penang before hopping into the trishaws with stops including the Esplanade, Fort Cornwallis, Kuan Yin temple, the Indian flower sellers, the Khoo Kongsi, the Achen Street Mosque and either the Clan Jetties or Little India.
This morning is a great introduction to the main sites & sights of George Town and a perfect way to entertain visitors and house guests who are new to Penang. You can send them along knowing that we will take good care of them - or come along yourself and join the fun!
