March is Brain Injury Awareness Month and Self-Injury Awareness Month, highlighting the importance of understanding and supporting individuals affected by these issues.

  • Brain Injury Awareness Month: March is designated as Brain Injury Awareness Month, aiming to increase awareness about traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and their long-term effects.
  • Self-Injury Awareness Month: March is also Self-Injury Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about a topic that is often shrouded in secrecy, and to provide support for individuals who engage in self-injurious behaviors.
  • March also includes events like National Sleep Awareness Week (March 9-15). Sleep is so important to support positive mental health.
