2022 Meals-4-Kids Drive
A Great Project for Scouts,
Teams, Groups & Families

Join us in tackling food insecurity among youth in our area. Now thru May 15th we will be collecting Meals-4-Kids Bundles (see below for instructions). This assortment of snacks will be delivered to various Boys & Girls Clubs and food assistance programs.

There are 2 ways to participate:
1) You can purchase your own pieces of the project and we can coordinate tags and ribbons.
2) You can purchase everything from us.

If you are interested in being a part of this effort, please reach out to us.
Take a Break

Each spring, our students and teachers find themselves bogged down with required state testing (think PSSAs and TeraNovas). This year, after the testing, take a mental break and use the time as a way to give back. Teachers... if you are finding yourself with a free afternoon and looking for something a little different... reach out to us for community service projects.
Community Impact Award Nominations - Now Open

Our Community Impact Award was developed to honor youth (grades 7 - 12) who are making a difference in our
community. There are those that go above and beyond through kindness, compassion, and service to those in need. He or she makes volunteering and giving back a part of their life and learning.

Check out our website for more information. The deadline for submissions is April 15, 2022.
Service Reflection

As parents, we know how important volunteering and community service can be for our children. But don't forget... reflection should be part of the plan and can be just as crucial to the service experience. . Click on the link below to find out more.
National Cereal Day
March 7, 2022

This popular breakfast food has probably been a part of your life since childhood.

One of our beloved projects here at The Giving Tree is a Peace & Smiles Box. Which by the way.. starts out with an empty cereal box! Filled with craft supplies, decorated and delivered to pediatric patients in the tri-state area. We have delivered over 11,200 boxes to date!!

So pour yourself a bowl of your favorite cereal.... And don't forget to hang on to those boxes! We appreciate all donations of empty cereal boxes for our projects!
