As fitness evolves due to ever-changing consumer preferences there has been a proliferation of specialty studios with targeted training and experiences not easily replicable in traditional clubs. Single-purpose studios, however, may deliver less varied workouts, leading clients to belong to multiple studios which is an expensive value proposition .  Therefore, we see the rise of a new club format that offers multiple studio experiences such as circuit training, cycling,  and yoga under one roof.  These "fitness mall" offerings, coupled with inter-studio subscriptions such as those offered by ClassPass, arm the consumer with fresh, engaging experiences leading to greater participation and improved overall fitness... and wellness.
Maxim believes preventative wellness is the cost effective, efficacious, and empowering solution to numerous health related issues and presents an enormously attractive investment opportunity as consumer awareness rises and increasingly larger flows of private and public capital are directed toward healthy living.
