This lecture will take place via Zoom on Monday, March 28th from 12:00 - 1:00pm.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S. for men and women. But, as Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., a former internationally renowned surgeon, researcher and clinician at the Cleveland Clinic, explains, it can be prevented, reversed and even abolished. Dr. Esselstyn argues that conventional cardiology has failed patients by developing treatments that focus only on the symptoms of heart disease, not the cause. Based on the groundbreaking results of his 20-year nutritional study, the longest study of its kind ever conducted, he explains, using irrefutable scientific evidence, how we can end the heart disease epidemic in the country by changing what we eat.
E.A.S.E. - Stress Management Program
Being in the present is easy when it feels good - when it soothes our souls and delights our hearts. Unsettling times such as these, times of heightened struggle, angst, sorrow... make being in the present a lot more difficult. This practice-based, methods-centric series of sessions, with Heidi Weiker, focuses on E.A.S.E-ing your body, mind and heart into the present.

EASE is on Tuesdays from 12:30-1:30pm, March 15 - May 3.

PDC Supervisor Training
As an organizational leader, the manager sets the tone for their work group. Increasing responsibilities and "to do" lists means that most managers feel they have more to do than time to do it. In a fast paced work environment, focusing on your own well-being as a manager is a prerequisite for success . Adopting a self-care focus will expand your well-being as well as your ability to accomplish goals while also serving as a role model for your team. Strategies to thrive as a manager will be shared in this informative session.
The Importance of Well-Being as a Supervisor has two sessions; 3/8 and 3/24, 12:00-1:00pm. Click here for more info and to register!
