From Our Director
Happy New Year! As you are making resolutions for the new year, consider making a pro-life resolution. Whether you commit to wearing your precious feet pin more often, making sure you have a Choose Life License Plate, or be present more often to pray at an abortion facility near you, each of us can do something extra in 2018 to help unborn babies and their mothers!

For a Pro-Life Louisiana,
Benjamin Clapper

P.S. I hope to see you at the Proudly Pro-Life Dinner on Jan. 11!
Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood Killed 321,384 Babies in 2016 Alone

Planned Parenthood released its 2016-2017 annual report over the New Year's holiday, reporting that it sold 321,384 abortions in 2016 alone, equivalent to more than 880 abortions a day. Thankfully, though, Planned Parenthood has not been able to perform abortions in Louisiana yet, even at its new facility in New Orleans.

March With Us!
March With Us for Life
at a Louisiana Life March!

Will you march with us in 2018 and take a stand for life? Will you help us spread the message that EVERY Life Deserves a LIFETIME?

There will be three Louisiana Life March events within the next month, and one is sure to be close to you!

Wil l you help us spread the word? You can tell your family and friends about the marches, play the one-minute promotional video in your church and/or show the Life March image on your video board, or request promotional materials to hand out in your community.

Each march begins at 10 a.m. and lasts approximately two hours. There will be speakers (to be announced soon) and music as well as a ministry mobilization area at each site to spread the pro-life message and help plug you into pro-life efforts in your community.

Louisiana Churches:
Participate in Sanctity
of Human Life Sunday!

Date: Jan. 21, 2018

What is It? On Jan. 22, 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated the third Sunday of January as National Sanctity of Human Life Day. Churches around our country still use this day to raise awareness about core life issues, such as abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide, embryonic stem cell research, infanticide and more. Pastors can take this opportunity to teach what the Bible says about the sanctity of human life and what the church can do to minister to the vulnerable in our society.

The third Sunday of January was chosen because it falls in close proximity to the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision, handed down on Jan. 22, 1973, and legalizing abortion in all 50 states, in all nine months of pregnancy, and for virtually any reason (or no reason at all).

Questions: Contact Sandy Cunningham at 866.463.5433 or sandy@prolifelouisiana.org.

We encourage your church to participate in Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. Visit us online at ProLifeLouisiana.org/Sunday for more information.
