March Wrap-Up

For those of you who missed our AFA Virtual Briefings in the lounge, here is a recap of the information shared.

Negotiations Update

Section 6

  • Virtual Town Halls have been completed. If you were not able to participate, you can watch a recording at https://youtu.be/oBJDYpgMJ6g
  • Please review the updated FAQ by clicking here
  • The complete language of the Tentative Agreement can be reviewed by clicking here
  • This agreement is an extension of our current contract. It secures pay increases and other benefits without any concessions or trade-offs.
  • Questions regarding the Tentative Agreement can be directed to negotiations@afahawaiian.org
  • All Section 6 Tentative Agreement information can be found at afahawaiian.org/contract2025

Joint Negotiations

  • Joint Negotiations officially kicked off this month
  • Progress has already been made on several of the less time-intensive sections of the contract. This is a standard approach—tackling less contentious items first before addressing more complex issues.

SLMP Steps

  • If you progress to any step on the SLMP program and are directed to contact a manager, please do so promptly. This is not disciplinary, but failure to respond could result in discipline, up to and including termination. Make every effort to set an appointment as soon as possible.

New Contact Email

  • To make it easier to reach all of your LAX Officers, we've created a centralized email address. You can contact us at laxofficers@afahawaiian.org for any questions or concerns—your message will be received by the entire team.
