Dear Friends of A Novel Experience,
Oh, happy days will come again...and we're counting on the luck of the Irish to help us weather the storm! Many of our booksellers and customers are channeling their Irish ancestors for assistance in getting signed up for the vaccine--it appears to be working! We do wish we could offer everyone green beer on St. Patty's Day but that will have to wait till 2022--ITM, we're continuing to be careful by asking everyone to wear masks when they visit. And, thank you all so very much for visiting! From all over!

Great news on our annual Dog and Pony Photography Show--we have received some fantastic images for our Juror Ray Sullivan to review and pick for the show. We'll be hanging the show in April and we'll be joined by the wonderful folks from CoCo's Cupboard at our first Opening Reception in 12 months.  See below for more on this annual celebration coming up in April.

For our monthly book groups--many are still zooming and some are meeting out-of-doors at the wonderful Honeywood Farms--check out the locations below. Either which way, we'll continue to read and robustly discuss some amazing, challenging, and entertaining titles. And, when you visit, check out our new display of our personal favorites--we're quite a diverse crew and there's something there for everyone!  Spend time with a new title--it's a refreshing, wonderful alternative to this challenging time.

"My Bestie" by Barbara Corley                                 2020 Best in Show

The 2021 Dog and Pony Show
Our esteemed juror Ray Sullivan has made his picks for our 2021 show! And, he'll travel from Florida to pick the winners for our first "live" on-the-wall photo show since last year! (Thanks, Dale Niles for sharing your wonderful images since March of 2020--we loved living with them after Covid rang down the curtain on monthly photo shows...).

The first-since-last-year Opening Reception is going to be April 24th! We'll be presenting the juried-in photographs on the walls, along with our famous hot dog-and-beer feast and the annual Coco's Cupboard Parade of lovely, sweet adoptable dogs (these two features will be outside the store to be Covid-aware--and we'll ask all visitors in the store to wear masks). Ray Sullivan, our totally fabulous juror, will present the awards and discuss his picks.
