Happy March, Casper,
It has been a busy quarter for us here at Advance Casper; in-between travel, industry conferences, and business relocation efforts.
Looking ahead:
-
The city has recommendation from Wyoming Business Council Board for funding of infrastructure around the Wyo Sports Ranch that will now go to the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) for final decision.
- Three companies are visiting Casper in March.
- Livability Casper, WY 2024 is now available in our office. Please come by for a hard copy; whether for yourself or distribution.
Finally, we're always looking to grow our Membership Community. If you are connected with an organizational leader or local business owner in our community who is just as invested in growing Casper as you are, please invite them to our next event or encourage them to join us.

NEW & NOTEWORTHY IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT | |

1. Casper is Named a Site Finalist for the Reno Air Races' National Championship
Last year Reno Air Races' site committee visited six communities (including Casper) in hopes of finding a new home for their National Championship Air Races. Fast forward to now and our city has officially been selected as one of three site finalists!
We couldn't be more excited by the opportunity to host the future of air racing here in our community! Join us in giving @renoairraces a warm welcome, and follow along for more!

2. Livability 2024 is Now Available Online & in Print
The 2024 Casper, Wyoming edition of Livability is now available digitally and in print! Every year we look forward to this special release not only because Livability does an incredible job capturing the spirit of our community; but the local business highlights and economic development editorial pieces are unparalleled. Read cover to cover online or, better yet, stop into our office at 139 W 2nd St. Suite 1D to pick up your own hard copies for distribution.

3. WYLD Gear is Moved In & Manufacturing
After their building collapsed from the relentless snow storm in Casper last year, WYLD Gear rolled up their sleeves and endured in true Wyoming spirit. The premier drinkware and coolers brand is now renting to own a building in town and back to manufacturing in the heart of Wyoming! Their steadfast passion and dedication is something to admire. We are so proud to have WYLD Gear in our business community as well as our Advance Casper membership.

Commercial Air Travel Allocation to Reduce the Minimum Revenue Guarantee (MRG)
Fly Casper Alliance is asking you, as business owners, if you use commercial air service, would you be willing to commit some or all of your current commercial air travel allocation to using the Delta Connection?
We’re trying to bolster the ridership on this flight to help reduce the Minimum Revenue Guarantee (MRG). We’re hoping businesses who use commercial air service regularly will consider committing a dollar amount to purchasing tickets on the Delta Connection. Just 2-5 roundtrip flights to and from Salt Lake City each month per signed-up business would significantly reduce the MRG.
