Greetings!

This week in the Village we are practicing community Metanoia days. As the days lengthen and Holden’s winter rhythms turn toward the buzz of spring and the arms-wide energy of summer, metanoia (Gr) invites us into a reorientation of our hearts, a new way of loving ourselves, our neighbors, our planet, our Creator.

It’s missional work for us to ask how each of us is being called into newness. It’s also practical work in a village whose building must literally be reopened, whose beds must be remade, whose wood cribs must be restocked, and whose porches must be restored. Again and again we re-turn with the earth and all of its creatures toward the abundant gifts of a new season.

Join us this summer to explore this year’s theme: Becoming Courageous Community. We are making ready with spirits, hearts, and hands to welcome new and returning villagers.

Blessings,

Stacy Kitahata, Mark Bach, and Kathie Bach
