Spring Forward With Your Health!

Wellness Tip of the Month:

As the seasons begin to change, it’s a great time to refresh your routine!

Start small by adding just 10–15 minutes of movement to your day—whether it’s a walk on one of our new treadmills, stretching, or a quick strength workout. Consistency matters more than intensity, and building simple daily habits can boost your energy, improve mood, and help you stay on track with your wellness goals. Our fitness center has a variety of membership options to choose from and we also offer day passes!

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a time to spotlight the importance of prevention and early detection.

According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers—but it is also one of the most preventable with routine screening. Regular screenings can detect precancerous polyps before they turn into cancer and identify cancer early, when treatment is most effective.

At Rangeley Health and Wellness, we encourage our community to prioritize preventive care, talk with their healthcare provider about recommended screening timelines, and take proactive steps toward long-term health.

Blood pressure screenings are important because high blood pressure often has no warning signs, yet it can significantly increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and kidney problems. A quick, simple screening can detect issues early, allowing for lifestyle changes or treatment before serious complications develop. Knowing your numbers is one of the easiest and most effective steps you can take to protect your long-term health.
