Y GIVING
ANNUAL SUPPORT CAMPAIGN: HERE FOR ALL, HERE FOR GOOD
The purpose of the Y’s Annual Campaign has always been to help our local community with financial assistance so that everyone - no matter their age, income, or background - can access our programs and services. From childcare to mental health counseling, the Y is here for all, and here for good.

  • You nourish neighbors through meal distribution. We are continuing to provide food assistance to our neighbors impacted by the health and economic crisis.
  • You’re supporting mental health at a time of increased stress. Our team of clinical social workers are providing counseling and social service interactions to those who needs us most, ensuring healthy spirit, body and mind.
  • You provide access to a safe remote learning environment. Our YMCAs are virtual learning spaces for children and teens to excel in their education.

To see your gifts in action, visit ymcanj.org/y-stories.

STRONG SWIMMERS ARE CONFIDENT KIDS
Teaching children how to swim and be safe around water is one of the most important life skills parents can help their children learn. It not only saves lives; it builds confidence. The Y is here with affordable lessons to help keep your children save this summer.

To learn about group and private swim lessons e-mail info@ymcanj.org or visit us online.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCE: TIPS FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING, QUARANTINE & ISOLATION
If you or your loved one must self-quarantine or isolate due to the COVID-19 virus, it is important to maintain a sense of hope and positive thinking. Connecting with friends and family, learning about risks, speaking with your doctor, and asking for help from others are great ways to help you cope. Learn more tips and resources to get you through this difficult time. The Y is also here with counseling services should you need support.
FINANCIAL LITERACY FOR ALL
We are pleased to partner with other YMCAs and the NBA in the national #DraftedtoFinancialFreedom launch to help close the wealth gap for all children and address disproportionate poverty impacting communities of color.

The Goalsetter App helps children and families start bank accounts and engage in financial literacy. Sign up through our YMCA today.
