The first nonfiction book from Indigenous Canadian poet and author Joshua Whitehead, Making Love with the Land showcases both his prodigious critical talents and his lived experience as a Two-Spirit/queer indigenous person.

Whitehead’s essay topics range from love to video games to family to his own body – all with the experience of trauma and our connectedness to the land at their heart. This is a challenging and invigorating read.
