Jessica was helping her father, Bob, move out of a nursing facility where he had resided for more than 6 years. Jessica and Bob felt that his health would improve if he were living at home with her. Before they could make that decision, they needed to know that his needs could be supported at home and Jessica wasn't sure what was available to them. Options Counseling helped them create a clear path back home.

On April 19, 20 & 21 we are joining efforts with the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living to host a virtual film festival. All films presented will have a person with a disability in a significant production or on-screen role or with significant creative control over the film. Films will feature a theme related to disability, disability inclusion, or the values of the Independent Living Movement.
