Open to children in Kindergarten through Grade 4, our Day Camps are a great, safe place for kids to spend their holiday.

Mondays at the Children's Museum are very special days. Every Monday from September to April, join us from 10:00AM - 2:00PM for a fun-filled morning and afternoon of stimulating play designed for our youngest visitors, children under 4 years old! We provide tailored crafts to help develop fine motor skills, activities that aid in dramatic play, and a special story time at 11:00AM and 1:00PM in our Time Squared gallery.

Children's Museum members and up to two free guests per member are invited to experience the power of (early morning!) play at this exclusive event featuring before-hours access to the museum. From 8:30AM - 9:29AM, attendees will be treated to light refreshments including ice cream mini cups courtesy of Neon Cone and have an opportunity to create a take-home craft as well as enter our draw for a museum membership.

Part of our Explore-Abilities Access Program, join us on Saturday, March 24 for an Explore-Abilities Morning - a sensory-friendly museum experience designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences to have fun and enjoy interactive, hands-on learning in a safe and accessible facility!

Celebrate Spring Break at the Children's Museum! Become a Castle Builder and start designing, creating, and building this spring break. Grab a construction hat and join us daily  from 11:00AM - 3:00PM for fun interactive building activities, special guests, and crafts.

Come mess with us at the Children's Museum for Family Night Out! Dress for a mess as you explore the galleries and take part in magnificent messy mania at this family-friendly fundraising event in support of the Children's Museum. Join Sweet Impressions in chaotic cookie decorating fun as you frost your very own family cookie. Let untamed imaginations roar as you create a Wild Art family canvas with Artful Owl. Science becomes a hot mess with muddled slime concoctions, exhilarating experiments, and bold, blustering activities led by the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg's Let's Talk Science teams. Search for treasure in an oobleck mess. Make the highest bid to have your favourite family member drenched in slime in our Ultimate Slime Tank. Grab a messed up souvenir snapshot of your family's experience at the Pixels and Giggles Photo Booth. After all the fun, relax and grab some grub in our Mess Hall catered by The Gates on Roblin.

APRIL 22, 2018

Buzz into the Children's Museum on Earth Day to create a life-sized honeycomb and learn about the importance of bees on planet earth. Hop on over to participate in our hopscotch zone made out of all recycled materials. This is also a great day to bring in your recyclable materials to donate for use in our Pop m'Art gallery - find our Wish List here. Being green has never been this fun!
