PALSA Early Bird Registration Extended

The early bird registration rate (save $100) has been extended to March 31st for PALSA 2023.

PALSA is an international, in-person/hybrid conference being held this July 12-14th to showcase and discuss applications of synchrotron radiation to the study of plants, soils, climate, food and nutrition, agriculture, and other related topics.

We're hiring a beamline scientist!

CHESS is seeking a Ph.D. level scientist to work with a dynamic, knowledgeable, and interdisciplinary team to advance the fabrication and performance of next generation materials, especially polymers, polymer composites, and functional materials, making use of synchrotron-based x-ray characterization techniques. The successful candidate will serve as a beamline scientist, supporting in-person and remote users of CHESS facilities. This position will specifically support the AFRL-supported Functional Materials Beamline, and actively contribute to developing next-generation synchrotron light source technology and techniques.
