Come sew! Offering classes + by appt usage!
|
|
Want to start a new project or learn a rewarding new skill? Consider sewing! There's always something new to make, or a new technique to explore. And with access to the Library's in-house sewing studio, you can expand your knowledge all year long--absolutely free!
This month, we've got three classes on the docket, all taught by instructor Patty Ibarra:
Tues, Mar 7 from 10 am-1 pm
Bring your WIP and use one of our sewing studio's machines to make some progress on your project! Remember that our embroidery machine and sergers are available for your use, too!
Wed, Mar 8 from 6-9 pm (Session 1 of 2)
Wed, Mar 22 from 6-9 pm (Session 2 of 2)
This is a two-part hat-making class! Join us for both sessions, and make EITHER a cotton bucket hat with a brim OR a slouch fleece hat! This one's for intermediate sewists and is BYO fabric. Click the link above for fabric details and to register!
At this time, these sewing classes are for adult sewists only. Beginners are welcome at most of these offerings. Have questions, or want to reserve the sewing room for private/individual or group use? Email us!
