American Red Cross Lifeguarding Blended Learning Course
Begin, or advance your career in aquatics with our American Red Cross Lifeguarding Blended Learning Course!

The course is taught by our Head Lifeguard and Recreation Leader. Together they will teach you to help others stay safe in, on, and around the water, and help you learn the latest safety and rescue techniques, and how to deliver critical care, like CPR, first aid, and AED administration, when it is needed most.

DATE & TIME
• March 15, 16, 17, 2021
(Sarasota County Spring Break)
• Time: 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
• Participants must attend all classes to receive a certificate.

FEE
• $225 per participant

PRE-REQUISITES
• Must be at least 15-years-old by the last day of class.
• Pass a pre-course swimming skills test prior to taking lifeguarding courses.

The City of Sarasota has extended the suspension of Municipal Auditorium and Bayfront Community Center rentals through February 10, 2021. This decision was made as a protective measure for the health and safety of the Community during these unprecedented times. Sponsors may submit lease requests for rentals after February 10, 2021, those leases would be subject to cancellation due to COVID-19 and applicants are doing so at their own risk and expense.
