Kids' Blackout Poetry

Tuesday, March 4

6:00 p.m.

Visit Romulus Public Library for Kids' Blackout Poetry! Take a recycled book page and cross off sentences and leave words or phrases that you like. The remaining words create a unique poem.

 Event is for ages 5 to 18.

Update: Family Makerspace is moving to the second Saturdays at 11 a.m. starting in April 2025.

Painted Book Bricks

Wednesday, March 12

6:00 p.m.

Add a little bookish beauty to the gloomy outdoors! Teens are invited to paint a paving brick as as a book. Pick your favorite book or classic and paint the brick to match. Display the brick outside in a garden or on a doorstep. First come, first serve and while supplies last.

Story Time with VEGMichigan

VegMichigan will be reading a book, providing a craft, free

food samples, as well as Family and Kid Friendly Recipes.

LEGO Club (Kids 5-11)

Design, engineer, and build at our monthly LEGO Club at the library! Event is for all ages.

Teen Manga Book Club

Start a new manga series, eat Pocky, dress up and meet new friends every month at the Library! All series discussed are rated for patrons 13 and older. March's series is Ouran High School Host Club by Bisco Hatori.

Come hang out with other teens and enjoy coffee and snacks on the third third Saturday of every month. This event is generously sponsored by Sheetz.
