Save the Date!

Library Giving Day is Wednesday, April 1

Save the date to donate to your library? Here's why we're making the ask:

FACT: Yes, a portion of your taxes do go toward the library, but that provides funds to keep the building open for patrons through the year.

But there are needs that go beyond municipal funding.

So, where do the digital collection, programs, museum passes, hotspots, and free online newspaper subscriptions come from?

The Caldwell Public Library Foundation is a nonprofit that raises money to supply your library with all the things you are looking for. Where does that money come from? The Caldwell community. We depend on your generous support to provide you a collection of materials and services that are fresh, current, and ever-expanding.

Love what we do? Support us. And keep coming back for more.

Newsflash!

We are moving in April!*

What does that mean for you, our patrons, in the meantime?

We are still open. You can come into the library and browse our collection, check out and return books, and place holds. But, programming will be limited to allow us to start packing and prepare for the move.

Is there a set date for our move? Not yet. We will let you know as soon as plans are firm.

Until then, we encourage you to keep visiting us in our current place.

We're here for you.

New Building UPDATE!

Welcome to 80 Bloomfield!

As the countdown to moving day continues, we spotlight different aspects of the library-in-progress for you to get excited about!

It's all happening! As the weather has thawed and allowed work on the parking lot and its lighting, we are drawing so much closer to our move-in date. Above, the entrance to the building, where you would visit the library and Caldwell municipal offices. Below, beyond the front door, stairs to the second floor municipal offices and, straight ahead, the library entrance. The door is open! Not willing to climb stairs? No worries! There is an elevator.

We will be moving sometime in April*, so stay tuned for important information on our transition and what you can do as we set up your brand-new library for the next 100 years!
