the next Pediatric Pain Warrior weekend retreat will take place May 24-26 at Morgan's Wonderland in San Antonio, TX.   Read more.
"Age is just a number" webinar rescheduled 

A webinar about advocating at every age with writer and activist Katy Brennan has been rescheduled to March 10. It will also take place via Facebook Live instead of GotoWebinar. Read more.

Catherine Charrett-Dykes
Location: Holtsville, NY
Age: 51
Pain warrior role:  U.S. Pain ambassador since 2014
Pain conditions: Chronic intractable migraine, Hashimoto's disease, and depression.
Favorite tips for living with chronic pain:  Educate yourself about your conditions. Don't assume that the doctors out there know everything. Learn to advocate for your own health.
Fun fact:   I like to sculpt in clay.

Cat is a leading patient advocate for the migraine and headache disease community. In addition to being a long-time U.S. Pain ambassador, she is President and Founder of the organization Chronic Migraine Awareness. She is incredibly active in fighting for change and is an inspiration to many others. Most recently, Cat was one of the 23 U.S. Pain Foundation representatives who attended Headache on the Hill.
