A NOVEL APPROACH TO FILLING THE NEED FOR WORKERS

The American Landscape Institute (ALI) was founded in Baltimore, Maryland to attract, educate & train the next generation of landscape & horticultural professionals and they have a unique way of accomplishing that goal. Alan Jones, President of Manor View Farms and Past President of the IPPS Eastern Region says, “It’s been very rewarding to be a founding member of this 'Learn While You Earn' apprenticeship style Community College program. There are very few programs that offer a quality horticultural education for free. I recently attended the students landscape design presentations and was very impressed by the quality of the work & the enthusiasm of the students.” More on the program HERE & more about ALI HERE
