Let me start with the nicest surprise I had today. A fogbow. A what?

Yes, I hadn't ever seen one before either. But there it was today though the fog a white rainbow, or so I though. A little research when I got home and indeed a fogbow is a thing! Every time we go out the door and into the fresh air we never know what we might find and today was one of those special days.

Today also marked the last day of our winter term. Both of our virtual groups finished up and we are so proud of them all, and delighted we all helped eachother through the winter.

Roll on the spring now....

The end of winter
We say goodbye to February now and welcome March this week. If you have found it hard to get motivated or get outside in February, here's hoping March weather will be kinder. For sure I can promise the days will be brighter and longer anyhow.

We are kicking off 2 new programmes this March:

Get Running : Beginners
Stay Running : For everyone else

Booking closes this Friday.

A little reading...
running in daffodils
Over the past few weeks I have written the following articles for The Irish Times

Hope they both help you make the most of the month ahead.
Do what you can....

It can be hard to stay motivated with all that is going on, so be kind to yourself. If running is not right for you at the moment, don't put pressure on yourself to do it. Just do what you can. Walk where it is safe and comfortable to do so, and even a cuppa outdoors wrapped up in a hat and coat can lift your mood. Fresh air really helps. Spring is truly on the way!

Here are some articles I have written about how to run in covid times. They might help give you another perspective on these difficult months.

Here is a little reminder of that big day. Thank you to you all who have bought Get Running and continue to reference it when you need a push to get out the door.

Wishing you all a lovely March. If you have a question be sure to drop an email or check out the website for new blogs and inspiration.
