THE DOWNTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL IX

The Canal Street Historic District presents the ninth annual Downtown Music Festival Saturday, March 6th, from 9am to 9pm, and Sunday, March 7th, from 10am to 6pm. Enjoy various music styles at venues including Christmas Park, art galleries, restaurants, and a brewery. Saturday will also feature the Art & Artisan Stroll and Gallery Walk.

Bring a lawn chair for outdoor shows. The event is free, thanks to our sponsors and venue sponsors.

The Canal Street area is the place to be on 1st Saturdays. Start your morning at the Farmer's Market in the park. After you've picked up what you need for dinner, join us on Canal for the Art and Artisan Stroll.

You'll find Arts and Crafts vendors lining the street from 9am-3pm. There's something for everyone. Live music in two locations will add to the fun.

RhythmWorks, The Hub on Canal's house band will be at the corner of Magnolia and Canal from 11am to 1pm and there'll also be live music in Christmas Park from 12-2pm. After shopping, grab a late lunch, rest your feet, and get ready for Gallery Walk. Canal Street has it all!

Canal Street Classic Cruise Car Show
Saturday, March 13, 2021

Every month on the second Saturday. Open to all, there's a DJ and plenty of shops open for food and drinks. Cruisers usually start arriving around 3:00 pm. At 4:00 pm the streets are blocked off to through traffic and the show begins. Expect to see anywhere from 200 to over 500 of the finest custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles you'll find in Florida.

We welcome City Market Bistro to Canal Street. Chef/owner Scott Krause's restaurant is located at 124 Canal Street, in the space formerly occupied by the Local Pearl. City Market Bistro features classic bistro dishes with influences from European and American cuisine. The restaurant is open Wednesday-Sunday for lunch and dinner. Stop by and grab a meal and a glass of wine.
