With the official start of Spring just round the corner, we are excited by the lengthening of the days and the numerous art events taking place this month. There is a lot happening! Our newsletter continues to grow and we owe a big thank you to all those who contribute material for it. We are proud that its becoming the ' go to place ' to discover what's on in the world of Contemporary Middle Eastern art .

We are pleased once again to be advising the Artscoops Team for their forthcoming auction in Beirut on 12th March . Click on the banner above for further details and a copy of the catalogue. And for all those who cannot make it to Beirut, we look forward to seeing you at Art Dubai. Now in its 13th year, it has an impressive programme lined up!

Closer to home, we are delighted to announce our online selling exhibition on Artsy in conjunction with the London based Stories Art Gallery. Entitled ' Untold Stories - Syria', it features the works of ten talented artists from the country. Check it out!

Don't forgot as well to scroll down for our Art Matters section, which this month looks at relationship between art and music (we love the Beyoncé and Jay-Z video shot in the Louvre). And finally discover a little bit of culture lurking in a Tunisian cave as featured in our Inspiration slot of the month.

We hope you have a wonderful March, with all best wishes from the JRFA Team

SOME INSPIRATION
A natural cave filled with modern paintings and artwork installations is amongst Tunisia’s hidden cultural treasures.
Located in Tunisia’s Dahmani commune, an hour’s drive away from the capital Tunis, the ‘cultural cave’ was envisioned by Ammar, a painter who, in 1993, decided to use his life savings to turn a 30-meter-deep cave into a cultural hub.
