Hello Young Minds Family!

What an eventful February we had! Despite the challenges the winter storm brought our way, we couldn't be more excited for spring and the sunny days this March will bring!
This month we look forward to learning about the National Nutrition Awareness Month, sprouting more spring season seeds for our garden, and taking a brief break for Spring Break. Read along to catch up on what else we have going on this month!

  • Butterfly life cycle
  • Parts of the turtle
  • St. Patrick's Day
  • Geography & Culture: Map of Asia, Animals of Asia

We wanted to let you know that even though the mask and operational mandates will be lifted soon, our plan is to continue operating with the same protocols we have in place today. Most of our current operational policies were put in place by our licensing office, so it is likely that we will soon receive updated instructions based on Gov. Abbott's announcement yesterday. If anything is changing, we will let you all know as soon as it is brought to our attention.

We know that COVID-19 is still very much among us, simply based on the number of families that have had to quarantine in the past several months and that are still quarantining today. Our priority continues to be the safety and health of our staff and families. We've made it for almost a year without any cases at our school, and we intend to keep it this way.

We remain grateful to all of you for helping us keep Young Minds safe and our doors open throughout the most challenging year yet!

A friendly reminder that parent-teacher conferences are available throughout the year for those who request them. If you'd like to schedule one, please let us know and we will organize a time for you to virtually sit down with your child's teacher. You can also email us at

Some of you may have received an email from LifeTouch this morning regarding Picture Day at Young Minds. This email was sent in error as our Picture Days are scheduled for March 29th and 30th.

(If your child attends T/Th, their picture day will be Tuesday March 30th;
if your child attends M/W/F, their picture day will be Monday March 29th).

Monday March 29th
All primary classes (Grasshopper, Bee, Ladybug)

Tuesday March 30th
All toddler classes (Firefly, Ant)
Our school will be closed March 17th-19th for Spring Break.
Enjoy your holiday!

If your child is graduating, please turn in your last day slips to Ms. Pallavi or email your response to We are open year-round, but need to know whether your graduating child will be leaving us in May, or stay through the Summer Program.
Click here to sign up your child for the Spring Season beginning on March 26th.

Also, please let us know if you would be interested in other extracurricular programs for your children e.g. dance, basketball, yoga. We receive offers from many different programs and would love to know what types of activities our current families would be interested in!

Although Spring is approaching, we will still encounter some chillier mornings/days. Please remember to dress your child in long pants, comfortable closed toe shoes (no boots), and a jacket. Your child will not be able to go outside if they are not appropriately dressed for the weather.
Please ensure the extra change of clothes in your child's cubby are weather-appropriate.

Thank you everyone who has recently written a review for us!
