MESSAGE FROM THE CEO, Kevin Drumheller

As we (hopefully) start to embrace the warmth of spring, I am filled with a sense of renewed optimism and gratitude for the remarkable community we have built together. Welcome to our March newsletter!

March is developmental disabilities awareness month. A time to not only celebrate the people we support, but also the staff who support them.  It is our commitment to everyone at Richcroft that makes us such a special organization. There was no better reminder of how incredible we are, than to be awarded a Top Workplace USA this month. This honor is even more meaningful because it is the result of our staff engagement survey.

As we navigate the ever-changing landscape of challenges and opportunities, I am continually inspired by the dedication of our staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters. Your commitment to our mission is the driving force behind every success story and every milestone reached.  Thank you for being an integral part of our journey and for your continued support as we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Wishing you a month filled with joy, inspiration, and endless possibilities.

All my best,

Kevin

MARCH IS DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AWARENESS MONTH

Each March we celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month—a time for us to shine a spotlight on the unique abilities and potential of individuals with developmental disabilities.

At Richcroft, we're all about advocacy, volunteering, trying new things, facing fears, and having fun! We celebrate and embrace the journey of growth and discovery.

As part of this monthly celebration, Richcroft staff and the people we support visited Annapolis to advocate for disability rights and raise awareness at the annual Developmental Disabilities Day in Maryland!

Thank you to Governor Wes Moore for your key support for Maryland's disability community.

Chef Manny and Richcroft on WJZ!

Did you catch our own Chef Manny Robinson with Danny & Maria Rosner on WJZ-TV'S morning show this month? Our Richcroft stars were featured in a segment promoting National Nutrition Month with WJZ reporter Amy Kawata!

Chef Manny visited the Rosner's home early in the morning for a culinary lesson on preparing a nutritious meal with a St. Patrick's Day theme. The menu consisted of Shamrock Smoothies, Irish Deviled Eggs, Corned Beef and Cabbage Wraps, Irish Panini and Lucky Charm Fruit Skewers. YUM!

Richcroft's new initiative to support both the people we serve and our staff with healthy meal prep and planning is changing lives! Cheers to WJZ-TV, Amy, Danny & Maria, and our wonderful Chef Manny!
