The Encino Chamber of Commerce
& Gelb Group, A Family Of Companies Presents
The 23rd Annual Teacher Of The Year Awards Dinner
 Thursday, April 20th

Hilton Woodland Hills - Doors open at 5:00; Program begins at 5:30.

The Encino Chamber of Commerce is working on one of its most rewarding events of the year - The 23rd Annual Teacher of the Year Awards Dinner. This event honors our teachers.  If every member donated items for our teachers' appreciation carts, this event would be an even greater success!!

Please help our teachers and help us say "thank you!"
by donating items such as:

copy paper, coffee/travel mugs, rulers, pens&pencils, calculators, scotch tape, flash drives, wipe & write board markers, baby wipes, soap, Kleenex tissue, paper towels, sharpie pens, hand sanitizer, etc.
Through donations from our members and the community we give each of the nominated teachers a rolling cart filled with school supplies and items that can be used in their personal life.

Have you registered for a sponsorship or ticket?

A message from our C.E.O.,
Diana Duenas

March is already upon us!  What happened to January?!

The older I get the more I keep saying things like this.  Time just keeps passing by, getting faster and faster.  Something my parents used to say when I was a child and the school year seemed soooo long.  On that note, February was a special month for our Chamber.

ENCINO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS TAKES ACTION

The Encino Chamber of Commerce is encouraging its members and voters
in the Los Angeles municipal election on March 7 th to vote NO on Measure S.
The Measure as written would be a hindrance to the economic vitality of the
city of Los Angeles and would negatively impact businesses in the Encino area.

Don't push your luck this
St. Patrick's Holiday

Linsey Momet
On behalf of the California Office of Traffic Safety

St. Patrick's Day isn't a celebration just for the Irish anymore. The holiday is widely celebrated across the country and is one of the deadliest, due to the number of drunk drivers on the road. This year, there will be an increase in DUI patrols during and around the holiday to help keep our roads safe. The California Office of Traffic Safety wants to remind everyone not to push their Irish luck this holiday. Luck won't help if you drive while impaired.
