Dear Friends!

We are only 6 weeks away from election day on March 3rd, and mail-in ballots will be arriving February 3rd , so please be on the lookout for those ballots! So far January has been full of community marches, and door-to-door walking for the campaign!

We kicked off our ground game in Seaside at the beginning of the month. Volunteers and myself have begun to walk door-to-door to meet voters and get the word out. I want to thank Seaside and Marina leaders Byrl Smith, Tom & Merrilyn Mancini, James Bogan, Jack Stewart, David Casas , and Bob Nolan for coming out to show their support of my candidacy and knock on doors with me at the kick off. I also want to thank Dennis Volk for opening up Mal's Market and donating his famous and delicious Bomber sandwiches to our volunteers!

Thank you all for coming out and walking with me these past few weekends. We reached out to a lot of perspective voters, and met some wonderful community members! We still need volunteers to keep walking with us, as the next few weeks are critical for reaching as many mail-in voters as possible before February 3rd. If you would like to come and walk with me, please reach out to Tabitha for more info .

I would also like to thank all those who have made it to our weekly volunteer nights!
Can't walk, but still want to help out?  Come swing by our campaign headquarters every Tuesday night 5:30-7:30pm to help with mailers, sign drop offs, and phone banking.

It's now officially go time! If you haven't signed up for a yard sign, be sure to stop by our campaign office to pick up yours, or contact Tabitha to have one installed for you.  (831) 229-2798

I am so thankful for all the love, encouragement and support I have received from all of you. Together we will push through these next 6 weeks, and together we will win March 3rd!

Monterey County Supervisor District 4 Forum
This month the Monterey County Medical Society hosted a There was great conversation on better understanding & redefining poverty & the responsibility of County Government.

As a parent to a high risk baby, the County can do more for those 0-3 years old. We can do a lot more for prevention & whole person care. I look forward to doing more on such important topics.
Marina Teen Center Breakfast Club
Last week I was able to volunteer at the Marina Teen Center as part of The Breakfast Club program.
This fantastic program has been around almost 10 years and provides up to 200 middle school and high school students with a full breakfast prior to starting school.
Some children arrive as early as 6 a.m. There is no cost and it is 100% volunteer and community run.
Martin Luther King Jr Day
Yesterday we celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. and what he achieved during his life, and the inspiration he is to all of us today. I was proud to participate in both the Salinas and the Seaside marches. I will work hard to pass along the many lessons Martin Luther King Jr. taught to my children, and to encourage those around me to always stand up for what they believe in.
