Mardi Bras & Briefs

Mardi Bras & Briefs is back for the second year on

February 17, 2026!

Mardi Bras + Briefs 2025 resulted in over 2,000 pairs of underwear, which became an invaluable resource for VOADV clients throughout the year. These items supported individuals entering emergency shelters, residents of transitional housing programs and families rebuilding their lives after crisis. Each contribution helped restore confidence and provided an essential item that many of us take for granted - reminding clients that their community cares.

The event will once again feature bead toss games, mask decorating for kids, authentic Mardi Gras beads and traditional New Orleans King Cake.

Attendees will also compete for the honor of being crowned the King or Queen of Mardi Gras by contributing the most packs of underwear!

Thank you to Double Nickel Brewing Company for hosting Mardi Bras + Briefs in both 2025 and 2026!
