New Assistant City Manager at LBR Friday

    New Hayward Assistant City Manager Maria Hurtado  will be the featured presenter at the Friday, Jan. 27  meeting of the Hayward Chamber of Co mmerce Latino Business Roundtable.

    The LBR will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Balch Pav ilion of St. Rose Hospital, 27200 Calaroga Ave. All chamber members and their guests are invited and there will be door prizes from Hayward merchants.

     Her past career experience includes serving as assistant city manager for Oxnard and Tracy. She serves on the board o f the International Hispanic Network, and is a member of Municipal Management Association of Northern California, the International City/County Management Association, and the Cal-ICMA Preparing the Next Generation Committee. She holds a masters in social work from San Jose State University and a bachelors in sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
