Ready to join 4-H? Complete these two steps to officially enroll:
Enrollment Step 1. Complete youth member enrollment through ZSuite
Visit the 4-H ZSuite enrollment website to submit your youth member enrollment.
- Returning 4-H members: Log in using your username, password, and PIN. From the Primary profile, select “Enroll Member/Volunteer Now” for the applicable youth member and complete the required information. Be sure to select “Unified Marin County 4-H Club & VMO” as the unit.
- New 4-H families: Select “Sign Up” to create a household, then click “+ Household member” to add each individual. Complete the required information and submit the enrollment.
- Your youth member’s enrollment will show as Pending Approval while it is being reviewed by the Marin County 4-H Office. Once approved, you will receive a notification from ZSuite.
Enrollment Step 2. Select your projects and pay the enrollment fee
After completing your ZSuite enrollment, complete the Marin 4-H Project Selection & Payment Survey to select your 4-H projects and pay the $75 annual 4-H enrollment fee (plus the online processing fee when paying by credit card). The survey includes the available 2026–27 projects and age restrictions.
👉 Be sure to review the Project Catalog before completing the Project Selection & Payment Survey! Some projects have age requirements or previous experience requirements.

Now accepting applications for Marin County 4-H scholarships! Help support Marin County 4-H members as they take the next step in their educational journey.
Scholarships are available to:
- Current 4-H members who are high school seniors and planning to continue their education.
- Formerly enrolled 4-H members who are attending their first year of college.

We hope you'll join us for our Marin County 4-H Volunteer Kickoff on Tuesday, September 22, at 6:00 p.m. This evening is designed to bring our volunteer community together as we kick off another exciting 4-H year.
Whether you're a new or returning volunteer, this is a great opportunity to complete several volunteer requirements in one place while receiving important program updates and training. We'll also cover a few key topics for the upcoming year, including:
Annual Project Plans
Volunteer reminders and resources for the 2026–2027 program year
Dinner will be provided, so come hungry and ready for an informative, and collaborative evening!
~Special Note: The $30 volunteer enrollment fee will be waived for the first 20 volunteers who complete all required volunteer requirements.~

Celebrate Achievement Day with Marin 4-H!
Join us on October 4th at 12:00 p.m. at the Nicasio Pumpkin Patch for our annual Achievement Day celebration! This is a wonderful opportunity to get out and enjoy time together as a 4-H community while recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of our amazing members and volunteers throughout the year.

Volunteer at the Nicasio Pumpkin Patch
We are encouraging all of our members, families and volunteers this year to participate at our 4-H booth at the Nicasio Pumpkin Patch to help grow our program during National 4-H Week, October 4th to 10th!
For the 4-H booth, we would love for members to showcase their projects, give mini demonstrations, bring your animals, poster boards or present a fun 4-H activity for the public. The goal is to have as much 4-H presence, projects and information displayed for visitors attending the pumpkin patch. Moreover, to take this opportunity and practice your presentations and public speaking skills in preparation for Presentation Day!

Golden State Warriors Fan Experience
The Golden State Warriors host the Denver Nuggets
Friday, December 25th at 7:30pm
All fans who purchase a ticket through 4-H can choose
between two exciting youth (4-17) fan experiences:
Anthem Buddy: 16 youth will go to the court before the game and stand with the Warriors
Players as they sing the National Anthem
Halftime Fan Tunnel: During halftime, 21 youth will go to the court to greet the players who
are returning to play the second half.
Youth will participate in ONE activity of their choice. Minimum 3 tickets purchased per
youth participating in each activity*
Pricing:
Upper Level Corner - $115/Ticket
Cache Creek Level (Lower Level Extension) - $225 (Food and Sodas/Water Included)
Other Sections Available Upon Request
*The Warriors have Minimum Ticket Threshold in order to allow youth to participate in
activities, so we must enforce a minimum

2026-2027 Annual Volunteer Courses
We're excited to announce that updated Volunteer courses for the 2026-2027 program year will be available starting July 1, 2026, at 8 a.m. These courses along with our other eLearning offerings and their unique enrollment keys are available on the Learning Center for California 4-H volunteers webpage.
We look forward to your continued dedication and involvement.
New Volunteer Course
If you're starting your first year as a University of California 4-H volunteer or returning after a break in service of one year or more, this course is for you. You'll learn the foundations of volunteering with University of California 4-H, including program orientation, volunteer expectations, University of California 4-H Core Values, and youth protection requirements. You'll also complete training on the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) and the University of California 4-H 2-Deep Supervision Policy to help ensure safe, positive, and welcoming environments for all youth.
The course takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete and can be completed over multiple sessions.
Returning Volunteer Course
If you're beginning your second year or more of University of California 4-H volunteer service without a break in service of one year or more, this course is for you. It provides important updates on policies and best practices to keep you informed and up to date. The course covers the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) requirements and the University of California 4-H Core Values, reinforcing our shared commitment to creating safe, positive, and welcoming environments for all youth.
The course takes approximately 35 minutes to complete and can be completed over multiple sessions.

4th H for Health Challenge
Practice Healthy Living with the 2026-27 4th H for Health Challenge!
In 2025-26, 96 CA 4-H youth participated in the 4th H for Health Challenge to practice healthy eating, movement, and social emotional activities individually and in groups. This year, we invite you to learn and expand on these activities in your 4-H club, program or at home.
● Who: 4-H Youth
● Where: Your local 4-H club, program or at home
● When: September 15, 2026 - June 30, 2027
● What: Complete the Challenge to earn a new 4th H for Health pin and certificate!

National 4-H Week October 4-10, 2026
Celebrate National 4-H Week by following along with our theme days. Go to the Resource Center to get Theme Days social media images, post text and alt text so you can schedule your social media for the whole week! Don’t forget to tag us on Facebook @California4H and on Instagram @ca4H.
Join your county and @California4H to celebrate National 4-H Week! Follow us and participate in our theme days to highlight 4-H in different ways!
Monday, October 5 - Go Green: Wear green to kick off National 4-H Week.
Tuesday, October 6 - Give a Clover: Share about 4-H to someone new.
Wednesday, October 7 - Watch Me Work: New for this year is Watch Me Work Wednesday. For this theme, 4-H youth are encouraged to post and share any skill they learned through the 4-H Program, especially any skill that can be linked to being college and/or career ready!
Thursday, October 8 - Thankful Thursday: Thank a 4-H leader, volunteer or staff person for their support.
Friday, October 9 - Flashback Friday: Share a memorable 4-H experience.
Saturday, October 10 - Grow Green: Ready to make a difference again? Grow a seed, seedling, or plant, and help promote a healthy environment.
