Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair has returned to Marina Middle School once again for the holiday season. The popular Scholastic Book Fair is a room set up as a bookstore to sell books and more to students. It’s a great place to buy gifts, school supplies, and of course books. Not only is the location convenient as it is set up right in our school, but the prices are also affordable. The Scholastic Book Fair offers great prices on a variety of books. At the Scholastic Book Fair you can find the newest books, and so much more. The Scholastic Book Fair is the perfect place for  the students’ reading needs.
Student Highlights

Marina Middle School is filled with many talented students. From instruments to sports they can do many things. Scarlett Carew and Crystal Tse are two of the many talented students at Marina. Here is a look into what they do!
“Hi my name is Scarlett. I am an eighth grader in Marina. I’ve been on the soccer team for 3 years, the softball team for 2 years, once as a manger, once as a player, and I’ve also done track for 2 years. I am in ASL club, debate club, and the running club. Overall, Marina has been a great experience, doing all these extracurriculars, I’ve been able to make a lot of friends, meet a lot of new people, and have a lot of good experiences.”
“Hi my name is Crystal Tse and I am an eighth grader in Marina Middle School. I am also this years captain of the 2019 softball team. I’ve been on the softball team for 2 years, and the volleyball team for 2 years as well. I’ve been positioned as catcher this year, this softball season and it was a great experience. Marina is absolutely outstanding, I met my best friend here at this school in sixth grade and bonded with the great teachers here at Marina. The clubs and classes never get boring because the staff members make everything fun and enjoyable. The sports at Marina have been my favorite things so far. Thank you!”
I hope you all have a relaxing and meaningful winter break. See you in the next semester!
