Mariners requested to slow down and be aware of construction equipment
NORFOLK, VA – To ensure the safety of all waterway users, the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) Expansion Project team requests that mariners use extreme caution when utilizing the waterways near project activities. Recreational boaters and others participating in marine activities need to remain alert and aware of the ongoing construction work including the presence of barges, cranes, crew boats or pile driving.
