Crossroads Challenge
Run or Ruck, then Amuck. Participate in two events on one day and earn the Crossroads medal. Choose the Belleau Wood 8K or Recon Ruck before embarking on Run Amuck. All events happen at Butler Stadium in the heart of Quantico, known as the “Crossroads of the Corps.”
Serious about competing in a triathlon this year? Add the Quantico Tri to your calendar of events. Open water swim. Awesome bike course on Base. Run finishes near Officer Candidates School, where a well-deserved medal is presented. Register early for lower entry fee.
Feel like a Marine running through the training grounds of Officer Candidates School. Run the 12K or participate in the new one mile dash. Finisher medal presented to all who complete the 7.45 miles.

Run with purpose. Finish with pride. The 44th MCM happens in Arlington, VA and the nation’s capital on Oct. 27. Register for the MCM Lottery and turn inspiration into action. During registration runners will have the option to purchase MCM Training Apparel by Brooks; a MarathonFoto package; training services by RunCoach; tickets to the Carbo Dining In; or a new medal adornment personalized with runner name and finish time from iTab. The Lottery is open from March 20-26. Preceeding the Lottery, MCM will again host Rush Registration on March 19 at noon eastern for 20 minutes or until 7,000 entries are filled.
The MCM introduces a new ultra distance event when the MCM50K debuts in 2019. Starting on the National Mall and including portions of the MCM10K course, the MCM50K ultimately merges with the MCM course and follows the field of MCM participants. Be among the first to participate in this inaugural event. The field is limited to 500 runners.
The running year concludes with the Turkey Trot 10K and Mile in November followed by the Medal of Honor 8K that runs along Quantico’s golf course in December. Registration for these running events opens on June 5.

MCM will host a three-part dinner series on the evenings prior to the 17.75K in March, Run Amuck in June and Tri in August. The carbo load dinner is hosted at the Clubs at Quantico and features the Ceremonial Platoon, Quantico Marine Band and a special motivational talk from an accomplished US Marine athlete. Colonel William C. Bentley, III, the Commander of Marine Corps Base Quantico and eight-time MCM finisher, will be the featured speaker at the opening event on March 22. Anyone may purchase tickets, not just registered participants.
